FIFA Street is back and it’s gotten serious. Judging from the demo, FIFA Street is basically FIFA 12 with flair. But this for me has taken away from what the series was supposed to be about.
The game seems to have the flamboyant style and graffiti art of the FIFA Street series' past, but the whole gameplay experience is running on the FIFA 12 engine – meaning the franchise's casual and over-the-top roots are gone.
While the future of FIFA 23 remains uncertain, EA could inject life back into the franchise with a new FIFA Street game.
While we're at it, can we get rid of NBA Live and get NBA Street Homecourt back? Or NBA Jam?!
I miss the the PS2, GCN and Xbox days. I always preferred the arcade style sports games over the simulation entries. They were more entertaining for me to watch or play. There was a lot more variety back then as well. You had options. Now not so much.
