Gaming Target details the truth behind Surfer Girl's latest batch of rumors concerning SSX 5, Mother 3, Team Ico, Kane and Lynch 2, a Shrek music game, a new Leisure Suit Larry game, Indiana Jones, the Wii Balance Board and Rage.
I wouldn't even allow Surfer Girl rumors on the site. It's just stupid.
Pulling stuff out of your ass and calling it exclusive inside news is pretty lame.
I never really liked Surfer girl becasue He or she never asks question that i want to know always some stupid question!!!!!
Surfer "Girl" is the new B1tch X...
Surfer Girl: My sources tell me that EA is working on next-gen PS3 versions of Madden, NBA Live, Tiger Woods, and Need For Speed; they should be out by the end of 2008.
Internet: OMG SURFER GIRL U R GENIUS!!!
Like I said before... Surfer Girl is just a marketing tactic they are using to see what people are interested in! Developers are using this Surfer Girl image, to view public popularity.
With the cost of game creation rising, companies are trying to see how much money a game can possibly make, based on public interest, to see if the game is worth creating. Or to see if they need to change things up, in order to gain more public interest.
They base their decisions on the feedback they receive from the rumors!
Like one of the post above me said about her announcing new EA titles. That's just to see if people have a negative reaction, or if it's a positive reaction. So EA can see how they are viewed in the publics eye!
This is just a next-gen version of hyping a game up... But it's cheaper, and developers can get a better understanding of how their game is viewed!
That's a pretty interesting interpretation.
And all of her political comments are a ploy by the political parties to to gauge peoples opinions. Not likly. Your idea is spot on but surfer girl isn't a creation of the industry like you suggested. They do all of that by looking at forum butc4ing and that sort. Its dumb you qould even think what you think.
Yup, Microsoft has been gobbling up any people who podcast about the Xbox 360 and are good at their job. What department to they hire them to? Community. Nelson from Achievement Junkie's job is just to surf the internet forums and see what people are buzzing about and what really has them excited so Microsoft knows which direction to take their ship.
