So dumb that this is for DS and not 3DS. Whatever, I might buy it if there is enough new to keep m interested.

This is clearly a day 1 purchase for every pokemon fan. Luckily for next gen handheld users, the Nintendo 3DS can play Nintendo DS games as it should. So you too can pick up your copy with no hesitation.

Only on Nintendo

Yes it's great that I can still play this on my 3DS but the 3DS screen is small enough as is, playing DS games in it, just makes it feel even smaller.

Once a real 3DS made Pokemon game is released I'll be all over it. For Black and White 2, I'll take the wait and see approach.

Absolutely. Yet another item in the big N catalogue!

*salute* Gotta catch 'em ALL!!

What's with "Rated E for Everyone" ?!! are you making a trailer or an opinion ?!

whats dumb is that you dont understand how good of a move this is.

Whats dumb is you would rather have a pokemon grey, what would of been on the ds anyway, over BRAND NEW TITLES.

Considering its called Pokemon Black/White 2, I don't think there will be many new stuff.

It's not really that dumb. There's a lot more of DS users then 3DS users. And, if people -for some reason- want to play the new PKMN game, but doesnt have a DS or sold the old one, will buy the 3DS since it's backwards compatible.

It's a shame, since I wanna see a pkmn game designed for 3DS, but's not a dumb move at all.

At least they aren't alienating their fanbase
Now the title has the chance to sell 2x its normal volume (on both the 3DS and NDS systems).

I would have liked to see a 3ds pokemon game too, but that these are ds games is hardly surprising. It just wouldn't make sense to ignore the substantial existing fanbase.
They do this with every console generation gap between games.

Why not 3DS???
Trunkz Jr  +   1070d ago
Because there's still a large DS fanbase out. DS owners AND 3DS owners will be able to buy it, twice the money.

yep this was their plan
