Things You Might Not Know About Your Vita

GXC: "Congratulations, you purchased a brand new PlayStation Vita! While you may have the basic functions down and probably had a little fun with the ‘Welcome Park’ tutorial, there might be a few things that you didn’t know your PlayStation Vita could do! Well, [We're] here to help you get all you can get out from the system with a few minor things that you probably didn’t know about your PlayStation Vita." (PS Vita, Tech)

Some good tips. I guess as time goes on, more folks are getting a better handle on all that it can do. Looking forward to what it will bring in the future.

There's this thing that sony always does with new hardware and it's incredibly irritating.

See before they release a console they take it around to various events and give tech demo's with it. They did this with the psp, ps3, the eye cam, the move, and now the vita.

When the console is finally released they don't have the features they were showing off in the tech demo in the current firmware, or games or whatever.

They show off working remote play, but don't implement it for all games. They say the vita will play psp games but it only plays some at launch.
They said it would support psone games but it comes out and not at launch. They always flub the software side of things. It usually seems like they release a year early judging by all the software they release.

Remember the ps3 when it first came out. It also would have benefited from a whole extra year in the oven. Same with the psp, they release their hardware too early and with undeveloped software.

I agree, to an extent. My biggest issue though is definitely how overpriced the proprietary memory is, especially considering how large patches are nowadays.

So what is the purpose of your post before I give you a "bubble vote". With all the wine and cheese in your post you obviously won't be getting one or any Sony Playstation product for that matter.

Try and stay classy.

Sort of like the 3DS had no store, the xbox had no xbox live.....the saturn had no games....I agree with you but this isn't just Sony we are talking about here.

@sandwhichhammock I will certainly be getting a vita, just as I own a ps3 and psp and the ps2 before. I will just ait roughly a year until the product has all the features it's been shown with before it's release.

"Fun Fact: Did you know your PlayStation Vita can play PS3 games already? "

Haha. Awesome.
