Alan Wake's American Nightmare's pulp-inspired detour leads one writer to consider some other genres Remedy could draw from.
Loved the first Alan Wake. Hoping this one at least doesn't drop the series into a hole.
From what I've seen, they're leaving themselves open to just say this one didn't happen.
Already downloaded this! Can't wait to play tonight after work.
Alan Wake was the secret best game to come out last year, so I'm extremely excited to check this one out. Already bought and loaded up to download when I get home. Woo! IT'S NOT A LAKE, IT'S AN OCEAN. EDIT: I of course mean 2 years ago...right?
I disliked this game so much at CES that I gave my download code to another reviewer on our site. I just couldn't get into it.
I literally just finished it. Being a huge Alan Wake fan, I loved it. It was wonderful, funny, and improved on some things from the first game. I can't wait for the sequel.
Now this is what I wanted to hear. Thank you! Can't wait to play it.
I'm in the middle of it and so far, it's been quite enjoyable. Tons of action and variety.
Anyone knows if I have to play the two expansions for the original Alan Wake to understand the storyline here?
Not at all.
I am playing American Nightmare right now and I really don'T see anything wonderful in it.
Beat it, then play it again. Then you'll see it. For everyone else: Alan Wake is back! Bring on AW2!
