Sony's newest handheld, the PS VITA, was officially launched in South Africa last night with a party in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, thrown by Ster-Kinekor. After giving the VITA a try it needs to be said: this is really one cool device.
It seems that Sony are going for something new with the VITA, in that every part of the device is interactive and influences gameplay in some way. Interestingly, you also get choices as to how you want to play in many of the titles – the touchscreen integrates with the controls which integrates with tilting the unit which even integrates with tapping the back of the unit. A detailed explanation is necessary to understand what I mean.
