Game informer really has a thing against nintendo platforms. Back when this was released for ps2 it got an 95 from them. Now it's out for 3ds with the main improvements being now it's all in 3d, which works great and is the only 3ds game i've played where 3d looks best all the way up. They include great controls exactly mirroring the original and it looks better. Lower score anyway. Why?

Because there's an HD collection out that isn't portable and isn't 3d. This is why i canceled my subscription to GI. For some reason anything on a nintendo platform since wii became popular gets docked by roughly a full point on the scale.

GI gives games on Nintendo platforms high scores all the time. They gave Zelda: Skyward Sword a perfect 10, and Resident Evil: Revelations scored a 9. Those are just two of the MANY high scores games on Nintendo platforms have received since the Wii's release.
