I wouldn't be surprised if it was, the hd versions were just a port of ps2 assets, so i'd think since it is a rebuilt version it would have better assets and polygon models

The 3D effects were pretty nice and somthing the HD version can not match, and looks better then the HD port as it is in a smaller screen. However playing the demo it did provide some memories but that doesnt mean I will be purchasing this when i played this years ago. Same with the HD ports on PS3. Good for those who missed out but I dont buy the game games just upscaled when i played it years ago.
