Eurogamer: "The developer behind Bionic Commando, Wanted and Terminator: Salvation worked on a Strider reboot and a Streets of Rage remake before it closed down."
Ahhh Strider and SOR, two of my favourite games from the 90's. Would have been nice but after seeing what had been done to TMNT i'm kind of glad they never saw the light of day.
my all time favorite. I did like the ps1 version of strider 2. Much better than that joke of a sequel Strider Returns for the genesis. In any case, i surprised there hadn't been a new strider game. Same for street's of rage. We have had so many FPS and one on one fighters that its time to get an old school side scrolling fighter. If not street's of rage then perhaps a new final fight.
Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, and Final Fight are classic side scrolling beat'em ups!!
someone should remake these classic titles but use 3rd person
I would love to see a big budget Strider. make it an Action/RPG
Strider the first 8MB cartridge for the Mega Drive ran me $80 so we deserve a proper sequel!!!!
Hey let Crytek make it and go crazy with the graphics.
Yeah, damn. Would've liked to have seen those games. But Grin were crap if I hear correctly, so it's probobly better off.
Along with the rumor of some cancelled FF game ,sounds like they were about to crap on everything ...
And we are grateful they closed before they ruined more childhood memories.
I agree with all ya'll. That strider character design looked WEAK!
i must be the only person who loved the bionic commando reboot GRIN made, I loved the multiplayer as well.
Yes you are! If they got their mitts on Strider that would have SUCKED!!
You are not the only one that feels that way.
OMG! They were working on a Streets of Rage!!? "faints" edit: Prolly would have sucked anyway.
