Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Review * Brutal Gamer *

Brutal Gamer's Mike takes on the challenges in Reckoning and writes:

It takes some talent to lift concepts from a number of different games and combine them in such a way that it feels like a fresh experience. It becomes obvious quite early on that Reckoning has definately taken it’s cue from games like Diablo, World of Warcraft and God of War. The results culminate in something that almost, but not quite, blows you away.

I really tried to like this one and thought I would but 45hrs in and I just couldnt do it anymore. It feels like an mmo with no one to play it with. It may just be me, but I think the biggest problem was the cartoonish designs (just a matter of taste), like its trying to be world of warcraft, only its singleplayer.
