What If Classic Games Had DLC?

Ryan Johnson | GoozerNation

When playing the Japanese ROM of the Simpsons Arcade and seeing new to him power-ups, Ryan began wondering what it would have been like if DLC had happened ages ago, or (still possible) if developers started making extended editions of modern classics now? This is an interactive article, so sign in and post your thoughts at GoozerNation or whichever news aggregate site you find the article on, and Ryan may be able to cobble together an article of what ifs (complete with Photoshopped pics)! Then most of the games we consider classics wouldn't be classics anymore

Classic games did have DLC..........they just cost another $40 and came on a separate cartridge.

Everything SF2 is DLC.

If Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger were still getting DLC, I would have never played any other games in my life.

DLC...oh how much I hate DLC.

I don't mind dlc as long as it benefits most of the gamers at a good price.

Skin packs for 20 bucks? No
Extra 5 maps for 15 bucks? No

Extra campaign dlc such as Raam's Shadow? Yes
