What is Patapon then? It's a rhythm game that's also a real-time strategy game that's also a side-scrolling action RPG. All of it supplemented by a distinctive art style, excellent (though necessary) sound and the same sort of out-the-box inventiveness which marked Interlink's previous effort, LocoRoco.
