XMNR: Electronic Arts' Origin Store launched a deal earlier on Tuesday that gave away Battlefield 3 on the PC for free with pre-orders of Mass Effect 3 on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. That deal apparently was just too good as we received word on Thursday that Origin ended the promotion two and half weeks early.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
This Canada Day, explore our homeland with the best video games that have adapted or reimagined the Great White North in digital form.
Whether it comes through remakes or a new game with a similar style, DICE should aim to revive the glory days of Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2.
hmmm I think there will be no old BF glory days for EA since they are loyal to their greediness and laziness :D
You're asking for a miracle with EA that will never happen unless they can exploit the money making schemes behind it.
LOL...EA are some cheap basterds. Too many people purchasing so they have to cancel...
Wow,talk about being very limited.
Ok... guess I'm not buying it afterall, now that there aren't overwhelming reasons to buy something through Origin.
that is definitely the 'limited' edition.
Err, where does it say the promotion is ending early?
(i.e source?)
I still see the deal available on origin.
EDIT: That's odd. Just checked Origin after making the comment and the deal disappeared.
o.o
Welp. Guess the deal is over. Whatever EA, you just lost yourself $60.
