Review: Trine 2 (The Gamer Studio)

Two years after 2009’s side-scrolling hit, Trine, Frozenbyte sought to create another fun adventure with polished visuals and online co-op. While the game is addictive, especially in co-op, Trine 2 is best described as safe; it doesn’t take any bold risks in development and gives fans more of what they received in Trine. There are plenty of shiny collectables, as well as tweaked abilities for the three heroes, to spice up the adventure. If you enjoyed Trine, you’ll love Trine 2; if you haven’t been introduced to the franchise yet—now is the chance to give it a shot.
