OXM UK: "Keep the baby, throw out the bathwater."

The story is too old to be commented.

If it was an exchange of quantity for quality, then yes, they should. I'll take ten hours of fun over thirty of tedium.

gigreen2128d ago

I didn't feel a second of tedium in Mass Effect 2, which this articles mentions.

I take it you never scanned planets for resources then.

_Aarix_2128d ago (Edited 2128d ago )

There shouldnt be a sacrafice of quality in the first place.

Games like gears of war shown us that you can have the best of both worlds.

gigreen2128d ago

@Information Minister

Planet scanning and upgrades are optional so that doesn't count.

If all games were 100+ hours, most of us normal people would only have time about 6 games a year if we're lucky.

is it just me or is this xbox360 site trying really hard to not review xbox360 games lol. last week they even recommended buying the PS3 version over the 360 one. ha

Bioshock wasn't too long, it was around 14 hours, just the right amount of time for a single player experience, hark ens back to the PS2 days when there was a good amount of length to a game that wasn't a RPG, a few examples, RE4 and God of War 1 and 2.

ChocolateGiddyUp2128d ago

Bioshock was pretty sweet, but...if only I could get less for my money...
