Gamer 2.0: Devil May Cry 4 Preview

With Devil May Cry 4, Capcom looks to rekindle some of the magic that was born nearly seven years ago with the original game in the franchise. In fact, in 2001 it was one of the most fluid gameplay experiences around, but in 2007 it's a style that has been taken and replicated not only by its own sequels but by several games across multiple platforms. So with its debut on next-gen consoles, Capcom is looking at DMC4 as a fresh start for the series – at least in some ways.

The story is too old to be commented.

"Capcom claims the game will take at least 15 hours to complete, with enough difficulty to effectively increase the length of the game through multiple attempts."

DMC3 was about the same length.

DMC 3 was ~ 10 hrs, DMC 2 was the shortest, at about 5-7, and 1 I don't remember, probably somewhere between 2 and 3. 15 hours minimum, not including the cut scenes is plenty.

Seems about right, I spent about 38 hours on DMC3 my first play through. I was maxing out styles, weapons, and red orbs for increasing health and devil trigger though.
