As you may have heard, first impressions count. Leave someone with a good impression and they are likely to be very welcoming. But leave them with a bad impression and you may never hear from them again. In the case of a video game, leaving a bad impression usually means that the player will not be returning. Such was the case as I played through the demo of Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Clocking in at about 5 – 10 minutes total, the demo is short and to the point. Unfortunately, that point is that you may not want to take this gimmicky trip to the Olympic Games.
