"As an optimistic sort, I'd like to think the worst is over for rhythm gaming, and that it's going to pick up this year. It's hard for me to admit, but I know as well as anyone else that rhythm games are becoming less and less common as the years go by. With all that has happened in the last ten years, I don't blame anyone for feeling despondent about the future of rhythm games. But is there a valid reason for hope as we move deeper into 2012?
