RipTen | EA Takes Leap of Faith on SSX Reboot (Hands-On Preview)

Earlier this week, EA held their Spotlight EA event in New York City, showing off some exciting upcoming releases including Mass Effect 3, Syndicate, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 and the anticipated return of SSX.

EA is putting a lot of faith in Creative Director Todd Batty. Find out how the game is shaping up.

The story is too old to be commented.

Finally- SSX3 was the last proper SSX game and i hope this turns out as well.

Same, though I do miss the loss of split-screen. Looks like it'll be a great game.

I like that there are no lobbies, it annoys me so much waiting in a lobby and at the end everyone leaves.

like this you can phase in and out, play all the time without wasting your precious time.

No lobbies is great for 360, since party chat can be used to coordinate. On the PS3, though, I have no idea how this is going to play out.

I don't even think this should be a leap of faith thing really. I'm picking up SSX this month too since I can't get a Vita right now.

Did you read the piece? I explain exactly what it means that EA is taking a leap of faith with Creative Director Todd Batty.

EA had no intention of reviving the series until Batty convinced them. You can read the whole story inside.
