An Australian retailer has listed Gearbox Software's Borderlands 2 for an astonishing pre-order price.
Ha, I'd love to know what kind of system error led to this happening.
.......a bored employee?
Trade in 1000 games and get it half off. I wonder if it comes with fries, for that price it had better come with fries.
ill just wait, i know its going to get a 1,000% price drop
I'll wait for at least a 16,947% price drop. I'd hate to pay more than $59 for it.
Can't a price only drop by 100% max?
If it drops by more than 100%, they would be paying you to take it.
@ Jneal7, ya thats what i want!!! XD
Alright math geniuses, you are correct! My only defense is that with my 3rd grade math skills I figured that since $9,999 is 16,947% more than the actual retail price, that should be the correct amount of reduction. So... To be mathematically and logically correct, it should be a 99.4% price reduction for it to be $59. :)
Haha, this is why you shouldn't surf the web during math lessons
I think I can wait until release day. Maybe games sell out down under, or worse yet get banned.
Well, that retailer must rate the game pretty highly at least.
clearly a placeholder, why is this news?
Because the submission/pending process here is a joke.
Clearly, No video game store employee is that stu... err nevermind. Even for a placeholder that is unusually high. Typically a placeholder for a game is around $100-150.
I'm really not trying to be a drag, but isn't this a "Ok, so?" moment?
probably, anyone would know this is beyond nuts to be true. just got shits and giggles i guess
$60 is too much
I got my 60 bucks worth out of the last game
Borderlands is worth full price. In a market flooded with 4-6 hour games with 2 MP modes, you can't go wrong with Borderlands. People spend $60 on CoD and BF and combined they only have half the content.
That's out of my price range since I can easily get a crappy used car for that.
This is news?
I knew the prices were higher for games in Australia but this is ridiculous!
And a idiot will probably buy it XD
what are you saying? You like turkey roll?
Meanwhile in Australia.
makes sense since games are expensive in Australia
I think he had his hopes up too high
Ill take 2 plz.
Just wait untill you see the price for the online pass :P
$500 at least XD
Let me first to say.... IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!!! nuff said.
