3DS eShop: Nintendo Laying Groundwork For Wii U?

Chris Buffa (Modojo): The 3DS eShop got off to the kind of start we expected, with Nintendo releasing a handful of titles from its storied library, namely Super Mario Land, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX and 3D Classics: Excitebike, a port of the hit NES title with 3D effects.

The story is too old to be commented.

Which isn't a big issue for me. The Wii U however... will take everyone by surprise.

I agree the 3DS does't need a second anlologue stick all it needed was great games at launch a name which showed it wasn't a DS.I hope the Wii U shows to everyone it's not a wiihd or a wiiportable or an add on.

It would be nice to have the option (and it would shut a few people up) but it's largely unnecessary. Your second hand is using the stylus most of the time anyway.

Nice read.

I haven't gotten a chance to check out the 3DS eShop yet, but it sounds really cool.

It was slightly confusing at first but they've made some nice adjustments to it to make things easier for the general consumer. "Want a Mario game? Here's the Mario section. Want apps? We got those too. How about some 3D-specific games? Check 'em out!" Stuff like that.
