Twisted Metal Put Out Early: Jaffe Approves Buying It

StickSkills.com writes, "There’s many reasons to love David Jaffe, as he’s been one of the best personalities in gaming for quite some time. If you check his Twitter account, he’s constantly replying to his fans and asking for suggestions on how to make any game he’s working on better."

I think only Activision cares about breaking street date as it gives them a reason to sue and make more money.

LX-General-Kaos2080d ago

Jaffe is smart for that. Hes a man of his money and wants his money NOW!

Bobby Kotick.. We know he's the Devil.

EHEM, Correction, He's the Devil's chubby, abusive cousin.

@Fylus
What?? You mean like....

*Ring, ring*
"'ey, Satan! What you say we go drinking, eh cousin?? Come pick me up!"

Of course Sony's going to release this game early. I mean the over priced internet read blu ray player needs all the help it can get right now. Sony's already had it's stock recently devalued for crying out loud. They should stick to making TV's. That's what they're good at. Leave the consoles to Microsoft. They know how to make a high performance dedicated SUPERIOR gaming console and not some over priced internet ready blu ray player.

"Xbox 360 is the BEST console EVER made." --John Carmack

John Carmack is an idiot. Why do people think he's like the God of video games? When was the last time his company made a good game? like the 90's?

@ Fylus, you're the only idiot.

John Carmack gave us:
-FPS gaming
-Realtime dynamic lighting/shadows
-Bump maps
-Online multiplayer for FPS
-Uniquely textured world (no tiling)

He is quite a programming demigod. His company not meeting your personal standards doesn't make him anything less. Idiot.

Anyone has the right to say any console is the best ever made. I, for one, preffer the PS3. It has better GAMES. No TM for Xbox :P

lorianguy2080d ago

I wish they put it out early in the UK. We have to wait until the 30th of March!

rajman2080d ago

Import it, Im from UK and I already have the US game =D

lorianguy2080d ago

Does everything work the same? Such as does it make you play with Americans instead of other, closer importers?

If it does - THANK YOU! I will do that now!

rajman2080d ago

The online play will still set you against EU players since thats your location regardless of the game being a US version, but with Twisted Metal you'll likely be matched up against US players for a month, unless the game is out in the rest of Europe this month?

TheLastGuardian2080d ago

Does anyone know if you'll get the code to play as Axel if you buy early from K-mart?

GamerSciz2080d ago

Does not look like it. However I got it from Amazon. Guaranteed shipment on release date, very cheap shipping at that, and upgraded to Limited Edition at no extra cost. I get the Axel voucher code as well as a code to download the original Twisted Metal: Black full game from PS2.

Amazon has what seems to be the best deal.

t0mmyb0y2080d ago

That is one sweet deal.

TheLastGuardian2080d ago

Yeah, I've had my copy pre-ordered with Amazon since last years E3. I would've canceled it and got an early copy from K-mart instead but if it doesn't come with an Axel voucher, I'll just wait until the 14th. I've been waiting for this game for 10 years, I can wait a few more days.

LoaMcLoa2080d ago

Does the Axel-code come with a mail or is it inside the box?

Pre-ordered mine at Planetaxel and I'm not sure if I'll recieve my Axel-voucher

girlwithturn2079d ago (Edited 2079d ago )

Damned european censors. In Russia game will be available only march 7th.
