RipTen: Team Ninja Head Hayashi Talks Ninja Gaiden Difficulty (Interview and Hands-On)

In a small room in mid-town Manhattan yesterday, I joined up with several journalists to sample the best of what Tecmo Koei had to offer in the coming months. After getting comfortable on the couch with a Playstation Vita in my hand, I was introduced to Yosuke Hayashi, head of Team Ninja. He was generous enough to answer a few questions about the Vita launch title, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and the much-anticipated Ninja Gaiden 3.

The story is too old to be commented.

Team Ninja is overrated.

Maybe so but he is doing better than his predecessor.

I wonder what Hayashi thinks about the fact that The Devils Third from Itagaki and Valhalla Studios is in the crapper.

THQ looked at the latest progress and the game seems to have almost regressed so now they just want the albatross out from around their necks. It turns out Itagaki was spending THQ's money by jetsetting around and partying. THQ showed what's available of Devils Third to several publishers earlier this week including Square Enix in an attempt to offload the thing.

This game needs more blood. I'm not satisfied with the amount of gore.
