Alan Wake PC seems like a resource hog!
They have 4x differed MSAA that's why, as it has to be run on each render target which means at least 3 times.
Good thing I got a 570. Not waiting for next-gen anymore. Next gen starts when I say so.
So long as you want to play Alan Wake on PC.
got a 570 too, amazing card
Man I only got a Radeon 5850 :(
That's better than a GTX 460 actually, if not the same.
My gtx 295 benchmarks a little better than the gtx 480 (weird, but I guess it has to do with it being a dual GPU) so I should be able to run at 1080p and 60 fps. I have never had a problem running a DX9 game at 60fps and 1080p. I can even throw in some 4xCSAA supersampling and not lose too much performance.
Yay gtx 580 here. It's OC'd too. So I should be getting around 60fps because I don't need 4x MSaa PLUS fxaa. I'll have it around 2x msaa only.
You should get much a higher framerate with your card. This game must not be well-optimized if you don't get at least 80fps at 1080p. Even my 570 will max out BF3 on ultra settings at perhaps 65fps.
overclocked 555m.... Yea, 720P+ with ssao on medium. Lappy power! :3
well thats at full settings, and who knows what that benchmark is like. You cant really say you need atleast a 460 to run the game at 1080p. Im sure you will be able to lower some settings, like for example they have 4x msaa and fxaa on lol. MSAA is something like ubersampling in withcer 2.
