You guys should see the European box that the Vita comes in. It's SO SLICK...I know it's just a box, but still...

GodHandDee2108d ago

well the box is important as it's the first thing you will see. A good impressions before you get to the beauty that is PSV will be a good appetizer

This might sound pathetic, but I'm actually contemplating importing the European version, lol.

That's not a good thing to try. The shipping would take to long and you never know the tiny discrepancies.

Is the box really so different. Without closer inspection they looked about the same to me.

I need a good carrying case however. Any suggestions?

Yep the Vita box owns the 3DSs. Nintendo should never have done such a terrible job with the box design. The 3DSs box is so ugly that everyone ends up throwing it away.

Lol just kidding. The Vitas box does look nice though and it seems to he the same as the Japanese one.

She said you can either charge it with the AC adapter or the USB cable. Does that mean you can charge it from a PC with the USB cable on it's own?

Most of the videos I've seen show that the USB cable has to be plugged in to the AC adapter, although they were all imported versions.

If it works like the PSPgo, you can hook it up to your PS3 and charge it too.

Yes, you can load it while connected to PC. However you need to set the option in the VITA. By default USB-Data-Connection-Charging is disabled.

claterz2108d ago

Ahh that's good. Can't imagine it will charge very quickly via USB but it's good to have the option lol.

The speed of loading depends on your PCs mainboard. Mine has a pretty good charging speed. I would go as far as to say there is no difference to loading via AC-adapter. I use my PC exclusively for my phone and controllers and i expect to use it just the same with the VITA.
