Mass Effect 3 "FromAshes" DLC Leaked (XtremeGameGuy)

I was at my local GameStop today and I was curious about all the Mass Effect 3 DLC buzz going on lately. Last night it was reported that someone had purchased a DLC called “FromDust” for Mass Effect 3 and today it now read “FromAshes” and it was retailing for $10. With the street date of 3/6/12 the clerk wouldn’t sell it to me. Will Bioware hurry up and announce what the expansion pack is going to be. We want to know.

Mass Effect 3 launches on March 6, 2012 on XBOX 360, PS3 and PC.

With any luck the dlc is the bonus stuff you get if you had Collectors Edition. But we know that is very unlikely. I do notice however, that the last DLC 'leak' was FromDust, and it mentioned no other DLC (and only Xbox360, for that matter). This one lists only FromAshes, again only for 360 - and with no mention of any other ME3 dlc. Given that, and the fact that the price is the same, its possible that FromDust and FromAshes are both the same DLC that has yet to receive a final definitive title from Bioware, given the undeniable similarity between both the titles subject.

As much distaste as I have for these release-date dlcs, regardless of the game, I somewhat like this. I always felt that Legion in Mass Effect 2 should had been a DLC character/mission just like Kasumi and Zaeed. Legion arrives so late in the main story that by time you get him, considering you've done all the sidequests before the suicide mission, you essentially only get the chance to use him as a squadmate twice. I can't help but feel that the only reason he was held back for so long was due to disc space issues. As we know, the 360 version of the game had to be released on two disc - this storage limitation may be a main reason why he, along with Thane and Samara, are not initially available. If Legion was DLC, disc space wouldn't be an issue and we could had recruited him whenever we wanted, just like the other two DLC characters. So maybe this ME3 dlc has content similar to that. Or maybe they just want money. Hey, I can dream that EA has some resemblance of an soul can't I? Sigh.

i don't think they can call the dlc from dust since there is a game already by that name
