A Goty Edition with all DLC 6-12 months after release.

I didn't see that coming.

SockeyBoy2327d ago

Agreed, I think i might wait for GOTY edition anyway, I mean i'm excited for ME3 but not as much as I was for ME2...ohh i really don't know.

The Meerkat2327d ago

I don't have enough self control to enable me to wait.

LOL let's see if it gets Game of the Year from enough outlets. Considering it's an early 2012 release, coupled with the fact that it's going up against Diablo III, The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, and possibly GTAV (to name a few) - I'd say we'll be seeing something more along the lines of an "Ultimate Edition"

MsclMexican2327d ago

hey.... aren't you realitypales on the tester?

Also... the last of us may not come out this year, nor could Diablo 3. Nor could GTAV

Making Bioshock ME3's real competition and maybe stuff like Tomb Raider and Max Payne 3.

Also, I'm calling it but Bioshock looks like it will get most of the awards this year.

Last was extremely mixed around because how many great games were squeezed in late October-november.

Sure a majority went to Skyrim(which saddens me even though it was released in a broken state)

Some went to Portal, Uncharted 3 and Batman

HebrewHammer2327d ago (Edited 2327d ago )

I do just so happen to be RealityPales!

Diablo 3 will hit in by the summer - there's no doubt about that. Activision Blizzard recently said in a conference call with investors that it's slated for Q2 for sure. June is a safe bet.

Given the Max Payne delay until May, GTAV in 2013 is a possibility but considering the average time between Rockstar releases is approximately 7 months, there's no hurt in wishful thinking.

The Last of Us, if I were a betting man, will undoubtedly drop in November. It's just too pivotal a title to keep until early 2013 and it's been in dev long enough. Then again, SCE loves pushing huge titles in Q1 - Killzone 3, MAG, Twisted Metal, StarHawk.

Totally agree about Bioschock, I've just got that sixth sense that it'll be the one that ultimately stands out.

All I know is, it's great being a gamer these days :D

This would be tempting to get if it wasn't for the fact that, if you want to use that Multiplayer to get the best ending you are going to have to get the game within the first month or two.

greyhaven332327d ago (Edited 2327d ago )

I agree, though maybe the multiplayer will have staying power

IronFistChinMi2327d ago

It just makes it easier to get the best ending, you can still get it without touching the MP mode.

Bioware is saying that anything is possible but you shouldn't really hold your breath and wait for a GOTY edition of Mass Effect 3 cause it might not happen.

Redempteur2327d ago (Edited 2327d ago )

Why ... a GOTy edition when the game isn't out ? and they have got any awards yet ?

Disccordia2326d ago

You don't need awards anymore. Yesterday I saw a dungeons goty. You probably haven't heard of it. Its an average remake of dungeon keeper for the pc.

Redempteur2326d ago

GOty has lost his meaning it's a damn shame

Megaton2327d ago

They didn't even make a GOTY edition for ME2, and they're already talking about a GOTY edition for a game that hasn't won any awards yet because it's not even out.
