i love this game but i only have a 150 gb and it takes up alot of space

You don't have to have the Full install to play the game.

I'm not sure if your saying that because of the update, because it's not that big at all... it was only 79mb... which is like nothing...

-but if you meant the optional install of the game when you first get it, then yeah I feel your pain it is a lot... but it does load better when you install to the Hard Drive so it makes it worth it...IMO - but you don't have too (you can choose not to install and still play the game)...

If you really need the space that bad..

I think pd are going for the word record in update size for gt5. I have to give it to pd though gt5 was unfinished by a long way when it came out in 2010 but nice to see them finishing off the game with 2.0 and now this update.

I've actually gone back to playing GranTurismo 5 and stopped Forza 4 ( because they got the new Toyota 86 and a lot of exciting DLC packs - tracks and cars )

IHateYouFanboys2350d ago

"exciting DLC packs - tracks and cars"

"tracks" is a bit of an overstatement. theres 1 actual track (Spa, which is awesome) and then a 30km oval and a stupid kart space.

"cars", well the first pack had MORE skylines and what, 11 Race Modified versions of cars that are already in the game lol.

oh and lets not forget the racing suit and paint DLC pack! great DLC! hahaha

in contrast, Forza 4 has had like 50 BRAND NEW cars already.

i gave up on GT5 when my PS3 YLOD'd, as there was no way i was even going to do the grinding that was required to get to level 25 again since i lost my save file. i loaded it back up the other day to get the latest patches and try the GT86, but its still an incomplete, inconsistent, messy game.

You need to have a PS3 to actually have it YLOD. If you had actually done any research you would've known that the first DLC release had 3 tracks with 4 different variations. Spa was just a normal track and the weather change while there was also a KART space I&II(both great drifting tracks). yes the paint and racing suit outfit was there. The car part of the pack was 15 Touring cars which were Glorified Racing mods. Car Pack 2 was another 4 cars. Car pack 3 was another 6(for a total of 25 new cars) and Map pack 2 was the 30k Special Route X which ALSO INCLUDES 0-1 mile time and top speed run.

Troll away.

I still LOVE this game. Can't wait until the new NSX is added (make it happen, PD!), and I'm always excited to see how new changes, tweaks, and updates affect how the game plays.

It's just a shame that trolls like Strikepackage WannaBe are so keen on trying to down an amazing developer and an amazing game.
