Videogamer: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Review

Videogamer: Back in 2006 baseball's Curt Schilling did the impossible and managed to turn a hobby of questing through Azeroth into an actual RPG development studio. It should have been a disaster but instead Schilling, a born-again ex-Major League pitcher with no previous work in development, spent the next six years watching a pilgrimage of top-tier media talent hike through the foothills of 38 Studios and queue to work on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The star-studded development cast includes former EverQuest designer Travis McGeathy, The Elder Scrolls' Ken Rolston, Todd "Spawn" McFarlane, and fantasy novelist R.A. Salvatore.

As with Dragon Age 2, I lost interest just by playing the demo.

Reason. hate the art style, as I did with DA2.

The art style is one of the best parts of the game...

Sucks for you... Hope you learn... Art, Graphics, Story... many things make a game... because you are passing up on a good one... Maybe with some time you can pick the good games out.

Yes you are probably right. that art style are great for you and probably many others. just not for me, since I prefer realistic art styles in games.

Problem is. I never get into the story if I don't like the art style.
