In a genre where words such as "epic" are frequently overused, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning hits you with a the kind of mammoth role-playing experience that is increasingly rare outside MMOs. As such, it deserves to find a home with RPG fans as well as those who may have found the genre too deep or time consuming in the past.

I don't get it when they say the game is better because you can switch out your class and skill choices at will.

It's like saying "This game is great cus it removes all weight and thought from the decisions that you make about your role."

Still, it's a nice looking game. The best thing it has going for it is that it's a new and fresh world which just makes you want to explore.

gotta have to agree, although i get bored pretty quickly with this game unlike with Skyrim, which i can play for hours and still be entertained :) maybe it's the more detailed Skyrim world, which looks like it's really living and here the world seems kinda bland, the characters have no "character" :D and have yet to see a level where i would say oooooo with my mouth opened :o ...
