Nixelpixel 'From what we have sourced it could be the presence of multiplayer bots which might be used to simulate maps before jumping onto the vicious playground that often devour new entrants.'
Their AI script is pretty good in the single player..Legendary mode might just be awesome for the bots...
I have been wanting multiplayer AI for multiplayer
you have not played games with actually good AI. lol
Their AI script is good in the sense that they often do hilarious things.
Yeah for the enemies, the friendlies are borderline retarded.
LOL, don't let Kat drive in Reach, matter of fact, don't let any AI drive in any Halo game.
If this is true, label me excited.
Something like Black Op's combat training would be very much welcome by a large number of people.
"Mutiplayer" ? Lol Yeah let me believe a website I have never seen before in my life.
Bots would be good. i dont think i would play vs the bots because i prefer real people but this would definatly be handy online if a bot jumps in if someone quits. Hopefully they wouldnt be as stupid as the Gears of War 3 bots that are so dumb its embarrasing its one of my favourite games.
Gears 3 bots are dumb in MP, but god its embarrassing when you get killed by one. haha
Oh yes. Surprisingly they get more kills then you think some games.
while i don't believe this site is credible i'm talking about the topic of bots in halo. if halo4 did have bots, it needs to be for offline practice mode only or for some firefight/horde type mode. i hate it when online matches are half filled with bots, it ruins the integrity of the match and game.
Check the story out, its not thin air speculation, they have made bots to test the multiplyer portions of the game...If only people would read...
I agree on having multiplayer bots in the game...
Are you on speed? You just replied four times without a break.
"i hate it when online matches are half filled with bots, it ruins the integrity of the match and game" True, but it can help balance out teams when its 4v1 ([email protected] quitters)
You know what though, at times you get stuck with such horrible players you just wish they'd quit sometimes. I usually play with friends only since its much more fun and I hate getting paired up with players who act stupid, I could handle myself better at handicaps sometimes.
It ruined Brink, if it were full of players it would have been a great game.
Just don't let em drive the warthog.
Here I was thinking that's exactly what I want them to be doing.. just like ME as an MMO or similar sandbox multiplayer experience that not only should there be combat bots but also NPC bots. Wouldn't multiplayer in Halo 4 be more fun if the flag was a human being (or NPC from other species)? (or ME if you could drive around through civilian traffic and when parking the Normandy)
I meant it as a joke. I played all the Halos but one thing that was bad was the AI's driving. They drive you straight off a cliff especially in Reach lol. Hopefully 343i will up the AI intelligence a bit lol I like CTF games, I don't want the flag being the person or something like that. CTF games in Halo 3 were epic, especially in BTB but in Halo Reach it lost its way. I never had issues with bloom or the actual game mechanics, I know people did, but I just want to have fun. I want Halo 4 to have that epic feel I had when playing CTF games on Valhalla, Avalanche, Standoff and Sandtrap.
Bots for testing certainly seems possible, as for online multiplayer, I highly doubt it. It would be far too easy for human players to kill the bots, even if they were on legendary setting. There is no shortage of players online, so I don't see the point. If however they had a separate mode where you can play against bots to practice for multiplayer, that may not be so bad.
i dont believe...
Well this is a nice additon. Always wanted bots for multiplayer especially when teams are unequal etc...
The bots might be worth it, if we can have a choice in how they behave (up to a point).
I hope the bots will be like the N64 007 world is not enough game. If anyone remember that game you know what im talking about :-) bots were soo skilled
