Diablo III will be 'color-blind' friendly; game is built with that in mind

DSOGaming writes: "You know what? Color-blind gamers have the right to enjoy each and every game. Most of them can’t distinguish the difference between green and red hues but that doesn’t mean that they are bad players or that they are not as hardcore as most of you. And thankfully, Blizzard’s upcoming action RPG game will be quite friendly to all color-blind gamers, as the game is built with those gamers in mind."

Now my brother will have fun with this game since he can be mixed up with colors easily, wish BF3 had color blind assist

ATi_Elite4457d ago

whoa!

i never thought about color blind gamers!

Maybe instead of all these "top 10 stupid articles" on N4G maybe one of these LAME editors can make an article detailng the problems "color blind gamers" have with video games and how they over come the hurdles to enjoy the games and what Devs can do to help.

and for Gamers sake interview a color blind gamer and not just make up stuff like you always do.

stupid lame websites whoring for hits!

same here man, im getting sick of writers having nothing else to write about other than lists of their opinion, we really dont care about your 'top ten this"

Glad to hear this. I'm partially color blind.

mynameisEvil4457d ago

Well, my eyes are perfect, but I'm proud of Blizzard for remembering even the color-blind gamers. Good on 'em.

Good to hear, more games should do this. I've noticed a lot of the puzzle games on XBLA have a colour blind option which I tend to use.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera388d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33387d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.
