flipping brilliant. i cant wait to buy this. to each his but the ps vita is amazing and it does so much while playing hardcore and casual games. majority of the hardcore gamers should buy this because itll be able to play games akin to the core games most like to play.
Hearing a 360 fanboy talk about "saving money" is HILARIOUS.
On topic: I just got my hands-on @ Gamestop and played some Uncharted. The screen is amazing, the hardware is light, the analog sticks are close to perfection...this system is the real deal. Can't wait to get it and Resistance!
Yeah, because Resistance: Burning Skies is the only PS Vita game to be released, and you can play your PS3 on the go right? Resistance: Burning Skies looks amazing,I'm getting it for my PS Vita as soon as it is released!
Stop asking the same stupid question over and over again. Why don't people ever ask 'why don't you just play Mario Kart on the Wii and save your self the money?'. I don't hear that question at all'
a lot of people wonders why there arent a lot of public beta testing for games or early previews of games sometimes. the reason why it is is because majority of people dont realize that making video games is a process and goes through many stages of development till the end. developers realizes that a lot of people will be judging an unfinished game with people making up their minds early to not buy a game based on assumptions.
resistance on ps vita will be an amazing game because its a AAA game and an important ip sony cares a lot about so they wont release it unfinished. i dont judge any game until im playing it or i know it is done because ive seen many games looking rough before release and the finish product being amazing. especially a AAA game. i cant wait for the ps vita and a lot of the launch titles.
ive played the ps vita and its such an amazing handheld and i wish majority of the multiplatform games will be released on it even though i mostly want alot of original titles. i dont buy multiplatform titles for consoles but for my pc so i would love to be able to play the titles from anywhere on my ps vita.
looks to have weird aiming sensitivity and kind of a bad framerate. for games like this i see no reason to buy a vita. for unique games that make full use of being on handheld, thats a different story.
the whole thing just looks uncomfortable and awkward. a lot of movement space between the right nubby and buttons.
How people spend their money, is none of your business. Secondly, if people are fans of Resistance, and seeing as how this is a spin-off (or whatever) of the series, it's pretty obvious they would want to experience this game too.
Ontopic: I'll get this game, but I'll wait a bit. I'm sort of exhausted from all the recent shooters (no offense to the guys who made this game).
I am stoked for the ps vita and most of its games but I will go out of my way and say that this game doesn't do ps vita any justice, I understand it's pre alpha but damn look at how the frames dip, just don't show this game until its near completion, I like resistance and I dont want a shoddy spinoff.

Maybe I'll wait till the game release before i judge.
And I agree, for now it looks really boring, but I will try it and see if it's a good game.

I'm thinking the former!
FPS on a handheld= fail.
