CNN's Fredricka Whitfield reports on the violent content of some of the most popular video games.
Well, all I can say is great. Violent games are the best ;)
(Seriously, my top 5 games of 2007 are all M rated).
too bad for the wii
That's some shoddy-ass, dishonest reporting there by CNN. There are no kinks in the rating system, it works just fine as it is. They made it seem like Assassin's Creed is rated E for Everyone or something, and that you can turn the blood+gore on in the game. Clearly Assassin's Creed is rated M for Mature. But CNN carelessly neglected to mention that.
she made it seem that the rating system is somehow convoluted and confusing for parents to use. Everyone through Mature, how hard is that to understand?
thats right, the evil video game industry is trying to hide the content of games from parents making it easier to destroy your children's mind. i mean, it's not like the game box lists the reasons why the game received the rating it got....oh, wait.
