Tim Schafer has hit out against the “layers of bureaucracy” developers have to battle through to release patches and updates for games on consoles.
The Hogwarts Legacy video game is on sale for the lowest price yet. You can get the Standard Edition on Steam for $29.99 down from $59.99 (that's $30 off). And, the Digital Deluxe Edition can be picked up for just $59.99, which is $59.99 off its usual price of $119.98.
50% is about as far as I made it through the game too. It started so strong in and around the castle... $30 feels about right though
Sea of Thieves is the first Rare-developed game to launch for a PlayStation console, and Sony was heavily involved in helping the studio bring the swashbuckling pirate romp to its flagship console.
Out of curiosity could any of these ms games going to ps5 have been leaked by Sony themselves? Not Sony but someone at Sony
sony isn't about to let some console wars get in the way of trying to make microsoft become a third party dev by showing them that they make more money with them than without them. of course with that in mind they'd help them. it's also doubly so because microsoft are bringing what is considered a popular game over that can also make sony money
Nice.
Still don't want it though.
Tell me Killer Instinct is coming to PS5 and then we'll talk.
The latest update overhauls certain aspects of the UX such as the process of adding Steam games in the cart without opening a separate page.
While it is annoying how long it takes, just look at how many patches these days come out and cause even more bugs.
Tim is right just let the developers do their thing its better for everyone.
I agree, patches take way to long to hit the ps3. We've had a new "official" patch on pc for Skyrim for a few days now, who knows when ps3 is going to get there much needed patch. The system that needs it the most is getting it last, it really is quite unfair.
I really respect Tim as a game designer but god, what a STUPID comment.
This concept that developers now have a pass to release an unfinished game and release multiple patches down the road to fix outstanding issues is criminal. In any other industry, this sort of practice would be condemmed. For Tim to think that it should be easier for patch after patch after patch to be approved and applied only perpetuates the desensitization to unfirnished products.
How about make sure your game works all the time the first time. $60 should at least get me that right?
Who is Tim Schaer? LMFAO
