Fortune Summoners [Review] - Don't judge it by its cover

IncGamers: Looks cute, doesn't it? Anime sprites! Little girls having adventures! Cute little slime monsters! And then it bites your finger off. Do not judge this game by its unbelievably twee cover. (Fortune Summoners: Secret of The Elemental Stone, PC) 8/10

I was considering buying it after playing the demo, though the combat kinda frustrated me. Everything else was perfectly spot on and was really looking great. I should say the combat is great and fun (when it works). Though I found myself flailing around in panic just trying to kill one bat I could never seem to hit.

I think I will definitely pick it up at some point, perhaps when there's a Steam sale and it's like 10 bucks. :p

Yeah, it's quite pleasing to the eye and the animations are really nice as well.

I'm glad the Carpe Fulgur guys have dug out another obscure(ish?) Japanese title to translate for the west. Recettear was pretty cool too.

Yeah, never know quite what to expect from those guys. Would like something a bit less action-y next time though!
