Will Mass Effect 3 Be best on Xbox 360?

GameZone's Andrew Clouther asks, "Will becoming Commander Shepard’s voice truly make the game experience better?"

"What’s even better than having a keyboard armed with hot keys? Voice commands. As we have previously covered, it’s no secret that the Microsoft video and speech recognition accessary has been implemented to Mass Effect 3 for the Xbox 360."

Thats because it released later with a the new Mass Effect 3 engine

There are a lot of little subtle differences between the ps3 version of me2 and a pc/360 version which has had a me1 imported character. Lots of (minor) characters don't appear, a few things don't happen etc.

The game is still great if you only have a ps3. But if you have the choice then pc/360 is the most logical decision.

What's that? Released a year later on a newer updated engine and somehow managed to look better?? No way, tell me more.
. . .anyway, it already features Kinect in a pretty neat way. Sure I was hoping to be able to use my hand to perform a force push but I've given up on that dream.
Other than that, they should be pretty on par. Unless of course there's foliage. . .

the PC/360 experience will be better because of being able to see your major/minor choices from both games come into play.

Kamikaze1352208d ago

Lol no. It will be best on PC.

lol this man here speaks the truth.

ME1 on the PC was butchered beyond belief...

Series_IIa2208d ago

So you don't think, random slow downs, crash to desktop, unstable and regular CTD on Feros and getting stuck in the elevator in Feros and the most annoying of all the overheating weapon bug which happened all the time and made you reload a save game to get rid of it?

If you don't think that's butchered then you couldn't have played it on the PC or in denial...

Megaton2208d ago

What in the world are you talking about? ME1 on 360 was a technical mess, with constant framerate chugs (especially on the Citadel). Not to mention how crash-happy it got during Bring Down the Sky. All of those issues were non-existent when I did my 2 runs through the PC version.

E2M2208d ago

I played me2 on pc and also plan to do so with me3 although i own a ps3. ME2 looks gorgeous on pc

Motorola2208d ago

The 60 FPS makes it worth it on PC, for me at least. And since that is where my saves are as well.

Godmars2902208d ago

If it is it'll be because of business maneuvering. It'll be nothing technical.

Kurylo3d2208d ago

that depends, do u consider kinect technical?

Godmars2902208d ago

Not when Binary Domain seems to be doing the exact same thing through head sets for both the 360 and PS3.

that MS got Bioware to hype VC for Kinect when someone else is doing it is the very definition of business maneuvering.

vickers5002208d ago (Edited 2208d ago )

I think what he means, is that they could probably add the exact same voice command feature to the ps3, since it pretty much just requires a decent microphone, but they don't, so that Microsoft can (probably) pay a little extra to Bioware so they can tout a feature over the competition. (that's my theory anyway)
