arg!. Come on Konami, make a new suikoden for ps3.

Knight_Cid2334d ago

no point the ps3 isnt popular in japan

Crystallis2334d ago

The ps3 isn't popular in Japan? I would like to know which console you think is popular in japan.

Hope Konami localizes this. We don't need a physical release. I think a digital release would do just fine. I mean, look at Corpse Party. The game is lighting up the charts.

Knight_Cid2334d ago

what charts are you looking at?

Ask xseed, corpse party isnt doing well

physical sales are always higher than psn. Look at stein gate 3k vs 300k

We do need a physical game release because we want it to sell even remotely well

Last I heard XSeed hadn't commented. All we had to go off of is the PSN's weekly top 10 charts, which has been at the top of for some time now. A member of XSeed actually posts on GameFAQs. We were waiting for him to comment. I haven't checked in a while granted, but we are all still highly optimistic.

Besides, chances of a physical release of Suikoden in the west is low, because you know the PSP doesn't sell here in America. Not anymore. Sadly.

EDIT: Matter of fact, just checked and found a comment. He doesn't state one way or the other, but had it sold poorly he would have said so. He's fairly honest. Back when Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky released he told us it sold below expected levels. Anyways here's the quote for Corpse Party:

"Bear in mind that being the top download on PSN for a couple months doesn't necessarily mean this game "sold so well." It just means it sold better than other PSP download titles during that time. (:"

Believe me they did comment. And I wouldnt believe anyone on gamefaqs saying they are. Tom, posts on xseed forums exclusively

It sells alot better than you think and localizations are still coming. theres a good chance it will be

I've been a fan of the series since the first one came out. It's a real shame that this is for the PSP. If it were for the PS3 (or even the Wii or PS2) it would be a sure buy, even if there were to be no English version.
