MP1st - It was reported last month that Twisted Metal would release in Europe February 17th, just two days after the US release. According to Jaffe, this has now changed.
This has to be some sort of joke? Cuts? Better not be cuts to the uk version or jaffe can go to hell And I'll stick to my vita. If I were Raiden I would definitely have REVENGEANCE over this.
"jaffe can go to hell" It wasn't his choice or the teams. Based on the territories regulations. Even says that in the article. And yea this is confirmed, heard it on the live chat towards the end.
Well, its his choice if he wants to make all the other countries suffer because of some stupid chinese censoring bull**** , just release it unchanged in all the places but the culprit, let them wait and maybe just maybe they can challenge their certificates office an get them to stop being so lame. I'm getting fed up of sonys crap, in th EU we're treated like dirt, our store is lacklustre and updated badly by two guys in a basement, we still don't have ps2 classics even though we were promised them last year. You guys get the vita early with some great bundles and we get nothing. Europe is sonys biggest market where they make the most money. God knows how they've done it with how bad they actually are.
Ah I see what your saying, but cut >>>>> no release of course original version is always better. Also ID even know if this game is releasing in China, considering they just started supporting PS3/xbox360 there recently. Like I said, it's not the teams fault and if anything it's just the rating system down in those places. Better this then have it banned. even TMB is the censored version (no cutscenes i think)
getting the NA version then
I take back what I said at the top "to hell with jaffe" I have now decided he is awesome. Sent him a tweet had a reply within 3 mins hah, I think I'm going to just import it.
Oh you are ridiculous! What I read was, "Waaa I hate Jaffe for information I know nothing about. I'm just going to assume it's Jaffe's fault" then "Jaffe is my best bud because he was nice to me, yay!".................... -_- Are people really this fickle?
"Content that is too “graphical” will be omitted out of the EU version of the game." The EU needs to grow a pair and while they are at it, smarten up their political system.
Cuts? Cool, no money from me. I know its not the devs fault, but it they won't fight it, they can get fucked.
Import is the answer.
Funny they always make fun of us in America because nudity is a big deal (which even I find funny because of how badly people freak out), but not being accepting to violence in media seems to be a whole lot worse.
WHAT!? I was going to fly in to UK get it and fly back to the US to play it...!!! I kid I kid
IMPORT TIME PEOPLE!!!!
This really blows. Ive been telling all my friends it's out on the 17th. I hope this won't effect sales :(
How graphic can the content possibly be? Or is this something to do with Germany perhaps and their more stringent laws. Still, sucks either way.
no problem to me because there are region 1 discs for every game in my country :) , but it's sad that most of the people won't get twisted metal in forst day :( ...
Wow that really does suc I could handle getting it 3 days after NA but wait till the start of march is a joke seems like the UK always gets the bum deal with anything to do with playstation. your lucky i want this game so bad other wise i'd tell you to stick it where the sun dont shine. import it is then
By the looks of it, a single version that covers all EU territories is being made, no doubt it's most likely Germany that are forcing these cuts (they are so anal about VG's). Why not do like other publishers and make a seperate version for the country that has retarded rules? The rest should have it uncut.
That would be a first AFAIK. Most games are cut for Germany, but rest of the Europe was always getting proper versions. This is sad.
Bugger that, i'm importing
Fuck this I'm importing
