Battlefield 3 and FIFA 12 Each Pass 10 Million Sold

Battlefield 3, EA's challenger to the Call of Duty series, has put up some very solid numbers, as EA confirmed today that the game surpassed 10 million units sold through. The publisher noted that FIFA 12 also achieved the same 10 million milestone. Battlefield 3 had last sold 8 million out of 12 million shipped as of the end of November.

Not bad at all. I think it's safe to say that BF3 is EA's best move yet in the shooter market.

Yeah Now get to work on BF4.. On the next gen Consoles.. I think this time they will amaze us..(and drop some more DLC for BF3 while your at it, hell if you did over 10 million it would be nice if you guys did some more maps and guns)..

Also these kind of numbers justify investing heavy in making the next version of the game as Epic as possible... I've heard Ubisoft already has the test development kits for PS4 -(According to PSM3 magazine) So I'm pretty sure DICE has theirs too...

-And with a 32 cell core I know the power is there to Amaze us.. DICE please Amaze us... Invest heavy in the next version of the Battlefield franchise..

I wonder how much $$$ EA has had stuffed in their pockets due to the FIFA hacks on Live. I know they raided all the points I had for add-ons when I was hacked. Thankfully, the credit card on file was outdated, so at least I didn't get any new charges (and MS gave me back my points & account within 3 business days, so no big deal for me luckily).

The funny thing is, it's usually the other way around.

FIFA 12 is the fastest selling sports game to date and it deserves the sales it's getting, easily the best and most realistic sports game ever made!

don't forget Fight Night Champion.

It's a good game don't get me wrong the boxing is as realistic as it can get but the story of the career is far from it, people getting killed and shot lol .

+ many many modern boxers are missing from the game to name a few Arturo Gatti (who was murdered 2 years ago but still a legend), Mayweather (even though he's a complete ass), Naseem and many more!

Very valid points! But If I was to rate based on gameplay, it's the best Fight Night/ boxing game to date.

The story was good, though unrealistic, it was for dramatic effect which at most times worked. Fighting in jail, to fighting in Mexico were great ideas and very thrilling to stick with the main character as he became his climb to the top after falling so far down. It was the best story driven mode in a sports game I've ever played, and very ambitious.
