In the previous DLC for Castlevania: LoS, you’ll find out that a new beast is about to escape it’s prison and unleash destruction. Picking right up from where the Reverie DLC left off, watching Gabriel Belmont drain out Laura’s blood right out of her for specific reasons, allowing him to step through the gate and enter the world where the beast is slowly making his escape.
The Game-Art-HQ Community created another art tribute, this time for one of the most popular game series for a long time, the Castlevania Series. The tribute features over 30 artworks by equally many artists ranging from the first Castlevania up to Castlevania Lords of Shadows 2.
love the 2D portions of the series.. SOTN being the best... Too bad the new 3DS version is just a so-so game from the reviews ive read.. I knew that not being sprite based that it would feel dumbed down from LOS & Dumbed down from the DS versions leaving it somewhere in the middle with no true identity
This week's topics include: Atlus' Catherine, the Nintendo 3DS price drop, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow DLC, TimeSplitters 4, Resistance 3 Beta and more!
After many delays and promises of narrative resolution, the assumed final piece of DLC for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is finally here. The ending of Lords of Shadow was largely a surprising one, and it won’t be spoiled here. Resurrection and the previous Reverie DLC were offered by the developers to firstly expand upon details of the Lords of Shadow, and finally, explain what exactly happened in the post-credit ending cutscene of the full game. Resurrection does connect the dots somewhat, but only barely in the last moments of the DLC, and in a disappointingly ambiguous way.
I was hoping for more from the DLC, but it does leave me excited for a possible sequel. I want to know more about this version of the Castlevania universe.
