The bundle itself is definitely worth it.

the 3g version is a waste of money imo.

-expensive data planes.
-downloading caps.
-no multiplayer over 3g.
-(US people) AT&T exclusive.

Basically if you have a smartphone then just tether it to the wifi vita.
Plus with tethering you play online, download as much as you want (depends on your phones data plan)

I;ll give you one good reason the 3G is NOT worth it.... at&t...

Though I still think 3G is not worth it. Especially when most people have a cellphone that can create your own wifi. Im getting the wifi Vita so I save on cash and get some extra games or bigger memory card...Though I wish Sony would do some sort of bundle with the wifi edition already :/

3G is not worth it and pretty much useless the data plans are extortionate after awhile sony might aswell phase out this alternative.

Yeah, I mean if you are intersted in a 3g version. Overall its a good deal, cosidering what you get with out the box.

Well you can create an account just for the PSVita with AT&T.

On Topic:

I'm just getting the Wi-Fi version. I just want to play single player games on it. I leave online games on my PS3 and soon, PS4.

The data plans are ridiculously priced and that will be what kills the 3g version. MyWi on my iphone will work fine when im not home so at&t can suck it easy!
