Platinum Hits: Final Fantasy XIII-2 Review

Regan Thomas wrote: "In FF XIII-2, you have the option to switch between Noel and Sara by selecting the “Leader Change” option at the bottom of the ATB menu. You do not get to control the monsters you collect and of theses there are several that you can capture. The monsters play a pivotal support role and this will be more apparent to new comers; veterans will easily find ways to spam and take full advantage of them.Additionally fusing the monsters, like the previous games weapon fusing ability (no weapon fusing here) adds more depth and unexpected outcomes. Watch Split Play Through video on creating a beast of monster usingMy fist thought on this is; what stage design? I am going to be harsh here because well this is an episodic title so it’s partly expected to see old vistas from the previous game. While assets are reused here (heavily) it tends to put a half-ass taste in mouth. I almost wanted to scream “I want my money back” as the warm feeling of buyers remorse seeped into my stomach. " (Final Fantasy XIII-2, PS3, Xbox 360) 9.1/10
