Analysts: Wii Drought to Cost Nintendo $1 bln

A number of analysts suggest that Nintendo's inability to meet Wii demand is set to cost the platform holder in excess of $1 billion this holiday, while Nintendo's marketing VP admits supply shortages are a "worry".

It's no secret that Nintendo is failing to adequately stock retail channels with enough Wii units despite pumping out 1.8 million systems on a monthly basis. (Industry)

I really hate analysts.

None of them seem to understand that Nintendo is working at capacity to make Wiis. You can't just "make more" and Nintendo is not losing any money. Because as we all know, the Wii and the DS print money.

WoW I would LOVE to know how they figure that out!

I'm not the first
to prolly say this... But the will be one of the fastest dying consoles as well as one of the fastest selling........... With the exception of a few games I can't believe how everyone is falling for the hype........................

What tickles me more is people paying $500-600 for this console on ebay.....

Incorrect Abbreviation
Bln is in no way shape or form the abbreviation for "billion"

The correct abbreviation is the letter "B"

That's it.

Grammar Nazi out!
