As you may or may not remember, a couple weeks ago we reported on the upcoming Halo: Helljumper, a fan made film set in the Halo universe. Well that day has finally arrived, Halo: Helljumper premiered today on the Helljumper website!
It was good but got disturbing when light bright was running with his moobs bouncing. I thought it was a proportionally challenged woman at first. Disturbingly, I wish it was. I hope they keep the shirts on and cancel the dramatic whiny acting next time. More shooting less flashbacks.
Obviously, you have no idea what Helljumpers (ODSTs) had to go through with the training that was instilled into them before the war with the Covenant escalated. These guys were the Navy SEALs of the future. They had to be abused just so they can be ready for war, and they weren't even training to face the Covenant, just mere human rebels. They literally didn't sign up to fight that kind of enemy. Plus, lets' not forget the balls you have to have to be put in an HEV pod and jumped from a ship in orbit to be deployed on the battlefield, hundreds of thousands of feet down to the ground. That experience alone can get a soldier killed. Another thing, how would you feel if you were in the Halo universe, and you came from the planet Harvest, and you were shipped on another planet off in the distance, and you have to be the one to face the news that an alien force has decided to invade your home planet as its first target? That kind of intel can really affect the way a soldier took things for granted back in the past. I'm glad that they added the "dramatic whiny acting" in this film. It adds the emotion that should really get to the viewer.
Boy you got some serious issues. It's fiction, not reality high-speed. You need to disconnect and go jog or read book. And by the way... my halo clan since halo 2 is hell-jumpers.
@Sith So he can't be passionate about something? Just because you don't dig deeper than just the shell of a fiction story doesn't mean he should be critisized for it.
Sith you do realize that the halo universe is much deeper than shooting right? He clearly read the books and likes the back story. Just because u think people knowing things in fiction is stupid doesn't mean it is. You clearly takes things for face value. Ud be a hypocrite if u know anything more about something than is initially shown. Example is if u were a star wars fan and even though Boba Fett dies in the movies fans know he actually escapes in the books all mangled and deformed to be healed. But I guess I have issues cuz I know stuff right.
Pretty good...but I enjoy Peter Jacksons a bit more. If you haven't seen it... http://www.youtube.com/watc...
