Rumor: Activision Testing Guitar Hero IV?

G4tv.com's TheFeed received word from a reliable source that Activision is conducting testing for Guitar Hero IV already. The first round of testing is supposedly happening tomorrow and appears to be a small-scale test (4-6 people).

This could be testing downloadable content and the mention of Guitar Hero IV could be a mistake on the part of the firm conducting the test, but it could also mean that Guitar Hero IV may be closer than we think.

Check out the story for more details.

GH3 is the last guitar hero game I will probably ever buy. The franchise is ruined.

I, personally, would rather they develop the current game more, with more content. I don't need to go out and buy another guitar hero game next year. Why not just keep the current version fresh with new content. And I'm not talking slack pack 3 song downloads that cost 500 MS points each (in Canada, that is $7.75 with tax, ouch), but a real, true expansion pack(s) for the current game. New sets, new songs, new rockers, new stories (or lack of I guess), etc.... but for the current game. Like whole new songs list to play through. Unless the new game will be truly unique and not just same old same old with a fresh coat of paint, that's different, that's new. Otherwise, just keep updating the current version with content,

They need more content for the current game. Already gone through all the songs on there. The only packs available are the Foo Fighters, and Velvet Revolver. Rock Band already has David Bowie, Black Sabbath, those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my my head but I know they have more.

I'm not buying a single more GH until they reverse their decision and let Rock Band use their guitars.

Check out that comic, it pretty much sums up everything. If that does not work, those of you who can't figure it out it's the comic from December 5th, 2007 titled "Interesting Choice of Words".

Top 10 Celebrities Making Appearances Video Games

Unreality Mag writes: "It’s always fun to see something out of the ordinary when you’re playing a video game. Most times it comes in the forms of funny songs or a game glitch you didn’t expect. And sometimes the game will toss in a celebrity which might throw you off (meaning a good thing).

But here I wanted to focus on celebrities who appeared in games that weren’t so obvious. Games that didn’t really have a celebrity focus yet a celebrity appeared in that seemed almost random.

Here are 10 that I enjoyed the most."
