This company is going out their way on the marketing. Oh boy now I'm going to end watching some comedian with some half-*** playing skills . An MMO hopefully it will innovate and not be "just another mmo". Either way I see this game will end up selling and doing good.

my big worry is that reckoning has an unfinished story this confirms that.

Not necessarily, the Amalur IP has a 10.000 year lore and Reckoning 2 could be set anywhere in that, it doesn't has to have a direct continuation of the story in the first game

KoA 2 won't be a direct sequel. I wouldn't worry about it. The DLC leads into the MMO, which is set after Reckoning.
