He was joking...

Is no one here at N4G able to detect sarcasm without having someone type "/s" at the end of their post?

What part of the post looked remotely sarcastic? It's commonplace for people to speak ill of just about anything for any reason these days. There are actually people who think the current consoles are superior to the endless potential of PC gaming so really, who would have known unless he actually typed /s at the end of his post?

The Xbox 360 version does look great.
No it's not the other way around as you say, but both do look good, in fact the Xbox 360 version looks incredible.

Better than the PC in some area's but it should it's updated on the pc's initial release.

If released simultaniously then yes the pc would look best. common sence.

"Better than the PC in some area's"

Um, no... especially not based on these low res pictures.
caboose32  +   1320d ago
No, the game does NOT look better then the PC version in "some" areas. CDP even said it's equivalent to the PC version on medium/low without the eye candy.

Have you even played the PC version?? Or even the Xbox version??? I doubt it.

These screen shots right here look pretty good at best, and in no areas better then the PC version (coming from someone that actually owns and has played TW2 with all graphics settings up.)

Comments like that are part of why many PC gamers look down on consoles and those who use them.

That inclines me to believe 'many PC gamers' overgeneralize by focusing on one poster's stupid (probably joking) comment.

Nobody cares about your Big Bang Theory crew looking down on anyone...Bachinga!
Optical_Matrix  +   1321d ago
I'm not sure how you deduced that from 3 extremely low res images but hey, what do I know. Let me also take this time to point at that that's not even possible.
jthamind  +   1321d ago
it's definitely still a pretty game, but (just looking at those screens) the textures and lighting look way better on the PC version.
Megaton  +   1321d ago
Those are bad screens. Obviously it's not going to look anywhere near as good as the PC version, but it won't look that bad either.
Animals_as_Leaders  +   1321d ago
As expected, it makes the pc version look like the hardware it was built for was outdated on release

they look good for deadbox. I hope we get that new cutscene on the other king as well.

Why? The 360 version is $60 while the pc is $40 with art book and DVD plus its way better
Somebody  +   1319d ago
@Brownghost - not to mention that there's a high possibiltiy that the X Box 360 gamers have to pay for those DLCs the PC gamers get for free. It something to with the Microsoft license agreement.

cant wait, ill be picking this up day 1

Cool, I dont regret getting the PC version, which is always a nice feeling. Maby with all the massive optimization there will be a PC performance patch.
N2NOther  +   1320d ago
Since I don't and never will game one a PC, this looks good enough for me. Can't wait. Hopefully they will do a "Crysis" and release the original as a digital download.

who cares about graphics??? Im into for the fun factor gameplay and story
FrigidDARKNESS  +   1320d ago
The 360 version looks slightly better than than the PC in dx9 mode. .....but the difference is night and day when the PC is running the game in dx11 mode.
I applaud the developer they have done excellent job on the 360 version and a testament that the console is capable of producing awesome games.
Pandamobile  +   1320d ago
The Witcher 2 on PC is DirectX 9.
Half-Mafia  +   1320d ago
'Enhanced Edition' more like Downgrade Edition.
