Final Fantasy Type-0 For The PS Vita

Rumors from Square Enix related sources are saying that a new Final Fantasy will be coming to the PlayStation Vita. The working title is Final Fantasy Type-0 and it will be released to North America and Europe only. (Final Fantasy Type-0, PS Vita)

Hard to tell

Well...
.
In my opinion, if this is one of their "strategy" to avoiding PSP piracy yet, I think it's understandable.

But I wonder how the final version would be?

Would it be a PSP game ported to VITA exclusively released overseas + extra contents for VITA version?

Or just a ported PSP game for VITA without anything to add on because Square Enix just want to release the game in English and avoided PSP piracy?

Tbh, if they're going to put it on Vita, I see no reason why not to make a PS3 version as an HD title as well. If they want to type-0 to sell big, putting it on PS3 as well as PSV would be killer.

I already reserved my Vita, so this isn't a huge issue for me.
On the other hand I'm sure there were a lot of people waiting for this game who won't want to buy new hardware.
Hopefully Monster Hunter Portable 3rd will get the same treatment.

yeah it would be good for it to get released here

*adds Type 0 to my Vita list instead of my PSP list*

Hold your horses, it could still be for PSP. This site has no source or anything to prove that this "rumour" is true.

My PSP's dieing anyway and since the I already have the Vita pre-ordered and have yet to pre-order Type 0, it's all good.

Wait, so what if we were waiting for this on the PSP?

Then Square says "Too bad so sad."

Lol. Honestly Square wants to make games multiplatform when it comes to home consoles but exclusive when it comes to handhelds. That is a very flawed business plan. Just like Kingdom Hearts 3D. Vita could do all of the things that the 3DS is doing with the game but they aren't going to make it for the Vita? Are you freaking kidding me? And on top of that why not put Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on the PS Store for the Vita launch so that way Square can make a lot of money for old games they don't even need to redo.

I swear it's like Square wants money but whenever an opportunity to make a lot of it is in their face they completely ignore it and say "nah its too simple". I swear all the questionable decisions made by that company this gen is astounding.
