I love how all the haters rush in to bash the game. You've played it, you don't like it, get over it. Leave people who actually care for the game to discuss it. I know people are entitled to their own opinions but this is getting ridiculous!
The more people hate on it the more likely SE will realise they made a mistake and release a decent game next time around.
More people should hate on it IMO.
Usually i place Story and Characters first but even as bad as they were the gameplay was far worse. Near unplayable. How can anyone support such an awful game?
This is hardly the place to get SE's attention. Go bother them if you want to make changes. All you guys are doing here is having a circle jerky cry session with each other.
I bought for 18 bucks and it wasn't worth it at all. I'm 28 hours in and only a few hours ago the tutorial ended. Shit is more linear than Call of Duty (or any corridor shooter).
People defending it have nothing to stand on. There's nothing to praise in the game. Characters are awful, plot is convoluted, no towns, no NPCs to talk to, no side quests, everything is linear as hell, combat gives you no reason to look at what's happening onscreen. The option to analyze then "auto-fight" instead of having to pick your moves yourself is hilarious... This game isn't a RPG in any way, shape or form.
Bought it day 1 for full price and i dont regret a thing. I remember popping it in on my hdtv and bieng blown away by how beautiful it was. The music and story drew me in right away. it might have been too repetitive and not have much exploration but i loved it. Staying up til 3am trying to beat those summons is a memory il always remember from this gen. Some of those were tough as hell.
